Ryan Raddon, better known as Kaskade has been putting out hit tracks in all forms of house music since 2001. His first breakout hit to top the charts “Steppin’ out” hit the scene in 2004, and helped propel his career out of the underground and into the mainstream. His tracks have had the distinct honor of appearing in many famed album series, including Ministry of Sound, Godskitchen, In Search of Sunrise, and many more.

Kaskade has a very distinct style and sound that is unlike any other. He often combines chill, soothing rhythms and instruments with surprisingly driving beats and compelling melodies. The soft feel to the tune belies the true solid dancing beat underneath the music. His remixes are also top-notch, bringing out the best of the original track, while making improvements and adding the unique Kaskade touch that even the original artist couldn’t beat.

His current work under the alias Late Night Alumni, a collaboration with himself, Finn Bjarnson, John Hancock, and Becky Jean Williams, has finally released their long-awaited new album in late 2009, “Of Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Etc” featuring 13 all-original tracks.

On tour now, Kaskade will be playing at GLOW Washington DC this Saturday on his way across the country. This past week’s tour included: Austin, Dallas, San Fransisco, and Miami, with a stop in Washington DC this week. Don’t miss it. Kaskade’s last DC performance in May was almost sold out!
