Norman Doray and EDX brought their ‘A’ game to Lima Lounge. The show was nothing less than amazing. The progressive uplifting sounds fused with the heavy kick drum of must house tracks filled Lima all night long. Both EDX and Norman Doray are DJs of the moment. They adapted their sets to what the crowd both wanted and felt. Doray played his own classics like Chase the Sun and Tweet It, along with a Pjanno remix and a mashup of Dirty South’s Let It Go.

When EDX took the decks, the sound and mood of the night instantly changed. His sound consists of uplifting, melodic progressive house music. In a genre that has become tainted with DJs who cut massive build ups short and fail to give that melodic prog feel, EDX pulled through with what he knows best. His set managed to take you from the cold streets of DC to the warm summer sands of Ibiza. Whether you wanted to dance uncontrollably or just stand there with your eyes closed, EDX brought you there. People were jumping up and down grinning ear-to-ear enjoying his inspirational sounds.

The offspring of trance and house, prog house caters to a wide range of EDM listeners. Fans of both genres would agree that EDX’s set was amazing. He played his famous remix of Dubfire’s Roadkill, his remix of Nadia Ali’s Fantasy, his single with Kaskade entitled Don’t Stop Dancing (Justin Michael & Kemal Remix), Mark Knight & Wolfgang Gartner’s Conscindo and so much more. He even dropped his newest, soon-to-be released single, Embrace.

Rarely do such good progressive house producers travel the world and tour, but when they do, the audience is in for an enjoyable, melodic treat.
