Ambivalent @ Lima – 07.05.12

Ambivalent brought the best of Berlin techno to Washington DC on Thursday night. The M-nus artist, representing Richie Hawtin’s progressive label, did something few can do. He spun without CDJs. Armed with (2) mixers, (2) controllers, (1) rewired iPad and a laptop with Traktor, Ambivalent got as techy as humanly possible.
Sean Tyas @ Fur Nightclub – 07.07.12
Sean Tyas – Leveled
Sean Tyas debuted his updated style to Glow Washington DC and got a wild reaction. We saw Gareth Emery drop this track last week and the place went nuts. Sean’s recent shift from pure trance to a more trancey, melodic electro format has allowed him to maintain his loyal fans while expanding to younger generations. The guy’s an animal behind the decks as you can see!
Simon Patterson @ Fur Nightclub – 07.07.12

Finally!!! Simon Patterson’s Washington DC debut brought some epic and seriously hard trance to the loyal DC #trancefamily. We had Richard Durand a few weeks ago, and then it was Simon’s turn to continue our trancey start to the summer.
