At 7 he started playing guitar. Inspired by the DMC competition, he took it to the decks in ’95 at the age of 14. Sidney Samson made the switch from Hip-Hop/R&B to house in ’99.
Samson’s first banger “It’s all funked up!” came out on Spinnin’ in ’03 and was followed by ‘Nobody Move’, ’Rock This’, ‘Girls’, ‘Aeroplane’ and ‘Viruz.’
Sid made his name known globally after the release of the wildly successful ‘Riverside,’ which was spun by everyone, including David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Diplo, A-trak, Tiga and Boyz Noize.
You know the rest of the story. Sidney Samson blew up, making tracks with Afrojack and Steve Aoki as well as remixing for David Guetta, Martin Solveig and Ferry Corsten.
