DJ Pauly D came to Glow Washington DC locked, loaded and ready to explode. Round 2 was bananas, yo! (see pics) As he stepped out of the limo behind Fur Nightclub, one of DC’s more colorful characters happened to be roaming around with DVDs and mixtapes.

“YO!! That’s that dude from Jersey!!!”

Whatever ‘it’ is, he’s got it. No, he doesn’t have Ableton on one side, Traktor on the other and a customized midi controller. No, he doesn’t spin hard trance that only EDM superfans have heard of. No… he spins music for everyone.

The days of GTL may be finished. The three things DJ Pauly D can’t live without on tour? GDM: Gel, diamonds, music

As Pauly fought his way to the booth, surrounded by security and smothered by adoration from the DC crowd, the only thing visible was the shine from his hair, ears and wrists.

Champagne OOOHhhyeeaaa!

Asking the fans if they knew what DTF meant, Pauly smiled, put an arm around Big Jerry and proclaimed his head of security down for the cause; but a few hearts may get broken. And with that, the music of Taio Cruz and Ludacris engulfed Fur Nightclub.

The evening was filled with a mix of top 40, Dutch house and enough underground hits to keep us leaning in to see what the hell just dropped! PD’s evolution is apparent just in the three months between his Glow events. He was on point with tons of crowd interaction and a track selection that reached new heights.

Grammy Award winning techno legend Dubfire was in the building to show support from the dance music underground.

Pauly’s variety is unmatched. If there’s one thing that sets Pauly D apart from other DJs, it’s the high energy and reckless musical variety he brings to the club… and the fist pumping! Ok, that’s three things but whatever! At the point in ‘We Are Your Friends’ where the lyrics scream to ‘come on,’ Pauly dropped Tiesto and Diplo – C’mon. He came through with a mash up of Waka Flocka Flame – O Let’s Do It vs. Steve Angello – Knas, blends like Three Six on a G6 and Lil’ Wayne vs. Afrojack – Steady Mobbin’ Takin Over (Afro-Wayne Perfecto Bootleg), 2011 IDMA Best Underground Track nominee Barbra Streisand by Ducksauce and even some Justin Bieber.

It’s impossible to not have fun at DJ Pauly D events. If the music doesn’t do it, the women’s underwear flying through the air certainly will. As he exited the club, cameras were raised, girls screamed and DC nightlife reluctantly began waiting for the next time Pauly D rocks Club Glow.
