Video Mixing at Ultrabar in DC

We’ve been getting a lot of phonecalls about the video mixing at Ultrabar.  Our DJ’s, Tektronics and Geometrix have started mixing not only the songs, but also the videos that go with them.  I have to admit that I catch myself watching music video after music video every weekend.  It’s really an incredible experience to watch the video in a packed dance floor with a great sound system, and an amazing light show.  A lot of times, I view the video for the first time; MTV is no longer a Music Television Channel.  It just has shows of questionable quality and does nothing to promote new music and especially club music.  So where can someone view new videos? Youtube is my number 1 option

Both Tektronics and Geometrix mix the videos at the same time they’re mixing the songs, and i know that they have spent many hours to download and organize all these videos and tracks.  It’s an experience worth checking out, so come to Ultrabar and see for yourself.  This, Friday July 24, Tektronics is doing an Old School Music Video Mixing Tribute in Chroma.  It should be pretty interesting to see the crowd reaction.  DC Nightlife is definitely starting to evolve and actually compete with the best in the nation.  Video mixing is relatively new, and DC is not lagging behind!
