One of the Best Previews We’ve Heard in a While:

Since 2007’s “Life Less Ordinary”, German trance DJ Alex M.O.R.P.H. has steadily become one of the world’s most heralded trance artists. He’s worked with Armin and Paul van Dyk and has remixed a who’s who list of trance heavy-hitters. His new album, Prime Mover, is filled with tracks even the snobbiest of trance snobs would love.

The album is a meticulous collection of danceable beats. It draws heavily on classic trance side-chaining and synth work along with strong vocal performances and dramatic lyrics.

M.O.R.P.H. is giving a nod to his trance heritage while preserving his own style and pushing the envelope to inspire future producers. We loved his rock influenced collaboration with Christian Burns, “Secret Universe”, and his kick-driven banger “Sucker Punch”. The album is definitely worth a listen – you’ll be hearing a lot of these tunes across the world this summer.
