Glow Washington DC would like to congratulate David Guetta and Afrojack on winning the 2011 Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for their remix of Madonna – Revolver.

The duo teamed up in 2010 for the hit track ‘Louder than Words’ featuring Niles Mason. When Afrojack (Nick van de Wall) performed for DC nightlife at Lima Lounge, Glow TV asked him about working with Guetta. He said they had a lot in the works and were planning big things with Will.I.Am for 2011!

To win the 2011 Grammy, Guetta and Afrojack had to beat out the Morgan Page remix of Nadia Ali – Fantasy, Wolfgang Gartner’s remix of Andy C feat. Gram’ma Funk – Funk Nasty, Axwell and Dirty South’s epic remix of The Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition and Mike Rizzo’s Funk Generation mix of Sergio Mendes – Orpheus (Quiet Carnival). Morgan told us he thought Ax and Dragan had it in the bag!! Of course, if Morgan had won he’d be running around the streets of LA nude!! So maybe it’s best he didnt win. Just kidding, Morgan!

Congratulations to everyone who was nominated and David Guetta and Afrojack for winning the 2011 Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical
