Sander Continues to Evolve
Sander van Doorn has teamed up with 16 year old Julian Jordan to throw his hat into the electro ring with “Kangaroo.”
The track is a departure from Sander’s recently updated melodic style. It features wobbly synths and plenty of modern talking sounds. But he still preserves a trancey lead and a bouncy, arpeggiated melody. Think Porter Robinson meets Arty with a dash of Knife Party thrown in for good measure. Keep your eyes peeled for the release – it’s due out on August 20 exclusively at Beatport.
Sander Van Doorn has never shied away from new developments in dance music. Since being named Best Breakthrough DJ at WMC 2008, he’s delivered his own take on progressive house and trance, scoring hits with “Hymn 2.0” and “Daddyrock” and most recently “Koko”.
