Skrillex released his first music video earlier this week for the hit track “Rock n Roll.”

The video follows dubstep glitch electro artist Sonny Moore aka Skrillex over the last 8 months of his tour. The footage features crowd dives, party shenanigans and some of the most prominent names in the industry, including Deadmau5, Diplo, and Steve Aoki.

Riding the success of his first mau5trap EP Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, Skrillex is revolutionizing the new sound of electronic dance music. With My Name is Skrillex EP in summer 2010 and the recent release of More Monsters and Sprites, Sonny Moore leads the charge for a new generation of fans.

MORTAL KOMBAT!!! Underground genres like dubstep, drum and bass and breaks are moving into the EDM mainstream.

Skrillex has erupted. Originally the front man for post-hardcore rock band From First to Last, Sonny turned to electronic music and began performing under his Skrillex alias in 2008. Since then, he has toured all over, remixed music by Lady Gaga and Benny Benassi, and even provided a track for the new 2011 Mortal Kombat 9 video game, “Reptile’s Theme.”

Even Glow has recognized the relevance of the underground. In an attempt to bring the electronic DC nightlife scene together, we recently partnered with 3D Productions to bring a dubstep drum and bass and breaks room to our Saturday night event at Fur Nightclub!
