An unlikely place for Above & Beyond to shoot the video for their upcoming release with Gareth Emery, the ravaged remains of the one time heart of America’s auto industry provides a chilling reminder of the effects of economic depression.

Since the collapse of a once thriving automotive industry, Detroit has become known as a monument of urban decay with disused warehouses, derelict wasteland and vacant factories peppering the city. Georgia Street Community Collective are one of many organisations harnessing local action and bringing community volunteers together to create positive results — regenerating wasteland as urban farms and community gardens.
