Details:
Submission Period: Now – June 30
Voting Period: July 1 – July 14
To enter, aspiring DJ/producers will submit a minimum 15m mix (SoundCloud or YouTube link) on the Wavo Contest Page. During the voting period, contestants will nicely ask their friends to vote for their mixes without spamming.
Winners will be chosen based on popularity and Glow/Steez/Wavo staff selections
A winner will be announced Monday, July 15.
Winner will receive:
- 1 hour DJ set from 9PM – 10PM
- Name/logo on event flyer
- 3 event comps for friends/family
- $100 bar tab (U21 may not consume alcoholic beverages)
- Full coverage on earmilk.com
Contest Qualifications:
- Contest open to North Americans aged 18+
- Winning DJ must be able to perform with CDs or USBs; ABSOLUTELY NO COMPUTERS OR CONTROLLERS
- Contestants under the age of 21 may not consumer ANY alcohol
- As this is a Mega Glow event, all genres are welcome for submission

Hey guys, awesome contest!
A lot of people are telling me they are having issues voting on Wavo. They click to vote and begin following me and connect their facebook, but when they get to the final step of liking those 3 pages…the pop up is blank and then it doesn’t record their vote. Is this a Wavo issue or a specifc browser or anything?
Just wanted to bring it up in case you weren’t aware. I am getting more email notifications of people following me than actual votes, so it does look like something isn’t working.
