Big Wild
Stemming from a relentless desire to create something new, Big Wild’s sound taps into the natural curiosity we all share by exploring beyond conventional boundaries in music. Oh yea, he also likes to make you dance…
Name: Jackson Stell
Used to work as a composer for ad agencies
Aftergold was used for an Apple Watch commercial
Made remixes of Sylvan Esso’s “Hey Mami”, Ludacris’ “Stand Up”, “Champagne Drip”, and Chvrches’ “Empty Threat”
Something he hopes to achieve: “create a really good festival set and play to really large crowds and see how it all goes.”
Part of Odesza’s Foreign Family Collective
Started making electronic music because he was looking to make different music outside of hip hop instrumentals
Started producing hip-hop beats in 8th grade, would give to rapper friends or sell online
One of his favorite shows: Red Rocks in 2016 with Odesza
One of his favorite remixs he has done: Hundred Waters “Show Me Love”
Sleepy & Boo
Sleepy & Boo‘s undying passion for underground music pervades everything they do. As DJs, this duo has become essential figures and pre-eminent players in the Big Apple’s dynamic music scene. They have left their mark on countless dance floors of all shapes and sizes, rocking rooms both big and small across New York City and beyond. Their sets are all about the groove, mixing together the best tracks from across the musical spectrum, hand-selecting the choicest cuts to create an unmatched vibe and atmosphere that takes the crowd to the limit. Whether supporting some of the world’s biggest DJs or crafting their own headlining sets, Sleepy & Boo are known for their musical diversity and knack for picking the right tracks at the right moment.
Husband and wife duo made up of Mike and Begoña Gwertzman
Mike = Sleepy
Begoña = Boo
The two things that make or break a venue: Sound and vibe
“If it doesn’t sound good, people won’t be able to get into the music and the DJs won’t have a good time. But if the place isn’t comfortable for the crowd, if the vibe is off, then the sound can be amazing and it won’t make for a fun night.”
On top of being Dj’s and Producers, they are also well-known party promoters in New York
Have a weekly radio show on Pioneer Dj Radio called Illusion Radio
Just started producing their own tracks, have released four EPs on 3Bridge Records
Tracks to listen to: ‘Skyway’ and ‘Signal Crossing’
Played a 4 hour set before Carl Cox while at Lavo Las Vegas during EDC weekend
Also played with Kaskade during his Redux set
DillStradamus
The man, the myth, the legend, Dillon Francis is one of the biggest names in dance music today. Known for his snarky sense of humor and killer moombahton influenced tracks, Dillon Francis can do pretty much anything. He burst onto the dance music scene with his collaboration with Diplo on ‘Que, Que’, later signing to Diplo’s Mad Decent label. Since then it has been non-stop touring for the comedic artist, playing at major festivals such as EDC, Coachella (he played for the third time just this year), and Ultra while also releasing new music including his debut album “Money Sucks, Friends Rule” in 2015. Now, in 2017, Dillon Francis has separated from Columbia Records and is now a completely independent artist, with his first release being with rapper G-Easy on the catchy ‘Say Less’. He plans to release a new album as well as return to his Moombahton roots this year and we can’t wait.
Genre: Moombahton
Funny thing he did at a show: played a set with his pants down
Worst prank played on him: During a show DJ Snake put up his real number on the screen
Loves Diplo because they are pretty similar in that they don’t take things too seriously
Moment he knew he was “making it”: the second time playing Coachella
Has a pet piñata Gerald who makes quite a few appearances in his Youtube videos
Has a YouTube series, DJ World, with Getter and Nick Coletti that skewers both EDM culture and the vapidity of reality television
Favorite character (and the one he is most similar to): Craig Braidathon
Has a famous mantra: I.D.G.A.F.O.S ( I Don’t Give a Fuck or Shit)
What the mantra means: “it is pretty much staying positive and not caring about what other people think when doing your thing”
Flosstradamus (AKA Curt Cameruci) is an American DJ and producer. Currently based in Brooklyn, Flosstradamus came to prominence in Chicago while collaborating with acts such as Major Lazer, Matt & Kim, A-Trak and Baauer. Career highlights over the past decade include iconic tracks like Major Lazer’s “Original Don” (Flosstradamus Remix), “CROWD CNTRL,” “Mosh Pit,” “TTU (Too Turnt Up),” “Soundclash” and “Prison Riot, as well as collaborations with G.T.A, Lil’ Jon, Waka Flocka Flame, Post Malone and Travis Porter.

Flosstradamus’s devout group of fans known as the HDYNATION has developed into one of the most dedicated and recognizable communities in dance music.
From Chicago
Curt Cameruci: known as Autobot
Created their own festival: HDYFEST
How Cameruci relaxes on tour: listens to meditation podcasts
First started DillStradamus in 2012 when Flosstradamus would play shows with Dillon Francis at after parties
Classifies type of trap he does as Drill
“Even though trap is from the streets of the South and drill is from the streets of Chicago the production is the same, the instrumentation is the same, the tempo of drill is just a little slower.”
One of the first DJ acts to ever play Lollapalooza
Name of the first album, HYDNATION RADIO, came as a nod to the male “HDYBYZ” and female “HDYGRLZ” fanbase
Created one of the biggest remixes today: ‘Original Don’ which helped to spur on trap music
