DC Happy Hour Circuit To Blame for Economic Meltdown

So it has been made quite apparent that DC residents know how to party hard, according to a new study by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA.) The study cited that DC adults (age 26+) abuse alcohol more than any other city in the United States.

They also noted that DC was among the top 10 states where residents admit to smoking weed on a regular basis as well as finding that the cocaine use in DC is among the highest in the country among adults 18+.

My first thought is wondering why the survey measured alcohol use in each city at age 26 and up. I’m not 26 and I’m pretty sure my friends and I can drink with anyone in any other city. Give us young 20’s a chance, for goodness sakes.

Secondly, how did they get people to admit they blow fat lines on a regular basis? Weed I understand; everyone does it, but the number of year-round skiers in DC must be higher than reported because I can’t imagine too many people admitting to hitting the slopes, so to say.

Next time a government official gets mail with a little white powder in it ,maybe they should count their blessings; free drugs!
