“I was bummed when it did not come out because I had put so much into the remix. I recorded live strings and bass guitar for the mix and felt that it really switched it up nicely. Later on, on my album “the calm” I stripped off the vocal from this song and changed the arrangement and released it as an instrumental called “remembering rufus”.
