Dada Life, Dyro, & Caveat – Echostage 8/30/13

Dada Life returned to Echostage 8/30 and it was BANANAS. People were decked out in banana suits and the bass was in full effect. The Swedish duo taught Echostage the Rules of Dada with a night of champagne, bananas, electro, and pillows!

We were given the Dyro treatment prior to Dada Life and he had the dance floor rocking!

Then, it got UGLY.  The music went silent and a deep voice took over the crowd. He said, “Welcome to Dada Land. There are no rules but the rules of Dada. If you don’t think you can follow them, this is your last chance to change your mind. You are beautiful right now, but very soon it’s time to get UGLY. UGLY. UGLY. UGLY.” As soon as every person at Echostage was screaming ugly, Stefan and Olle jumped on the stage with bananas and champagne and officially welcomed us to Dada Land.

It’s safe to say we partook in the biggest pillow fight in the District. Halfway through “Happy Violence”, giant stuffed pillows were thrown into the crowd. When the beat dropped, joyful chaos ensued.

This video is INSANE. Echostage kicked out the epic mother f**ker!!!!!!!!!

Dada Life did a meet and greet with some eager contest winners. They also got to dance on the stage with Dada Life flags!

When they couldn’t find a sabre for the champagne, they found our wrench. UGLY!

Caveat kept the crowd dancing until 4 AM. He may be 17, but he is no junior!
