For most trance fans, Universal Religion is a staple amongst compilations. Like Tiesto’s In Search of Sunrise series, Armin’s UR features special edits, mash-ups and exclusive material. Every year he records himself playing live in Ibiza. This year it was recorded at the famous Privilege Nightclub. Like last year, this release consists of two live mixes.

Armin’s Universal Religions have always promoted the latest and greatest in trance. This year’s compilation is no expectation. Featuring tunes from Daniel Kandi, Andy Moor, Richard Durand, Stoneface & Terminal, Alex M.O.R.P.H. and more, Armin provides the listener with true, pure trance (though at times the new ‘Trouse’ genre appears.)

In an age when trance seems to be fading away as a more commercial sound takes center stage, Armin is sure to tell people trance is not dead. This compilation does one thing incredibly well, its makes you want to dance and scream Armin’s name.

In a market that is over-saturated with compilations, Armin does one thing to separate his from the rest. His mixes are incredibly well structured. It’s no wonder many still consider him to be the best in the world. His DJing skills are unrivaled and it is quite apparent in these mixes. If you plan on seeing Armin this coming week, be sure to check this comp out and prepare yourself for an amazing journey.

I saw Armin last night @ Echostage and it was epic!!! However when he performed at the DC Stadium Armory was even better. He could not top that. I will never forget that night, it was simply amazing! I was able to dance a lot more then last night. Echo was simply overcrowed and it kinda ruin my experience. I came to enjoy club FUR since 2004 and I truly do miss it!

I can’t wait to get my hands on his new CD religion 6.
