After the massive January release of “Mpire” on deadmau5’s world-renowned mau5trap label, Moguai is back with an EP for the album’s second single.
From it’s 2007 founding and first release with “Faxing Berlin,” Mau5trap has become a major player in a relatively short amount of time. Having his first release on the label in 2009 w/ “Zyvox,” Moguai is back with MAU5050!
Having topped the Beatport charts with Mpire’s title track as the first single, Moguai hopes to continue the success. The package is available on Beatport & iTunes.
With a glitchy, melodic break and smooth, electro synths; the track is definitely huge and good for all moods. More proggy and uplifting than the album’s first single, “Lyme” shows another side of the Moguai. Teasing builds and crashing sounds make it a wave you definitely want to ride.
The German house producer has also put out an exclusive bonus package available on Beatport’s ‘Mashbox’ iPad app. It has full remix stems for all you producers out there.
What’s next for Moguai? How about a collaboration with Aussie wildman Tommy Trash for the massive ‘In N’ Out’ EP! The EP drops later this year!
