Ibiza, Amsterdam and Kalifornia – Wonder what Norman’s been doing!
Norman Doray had a reckless summer! The biggest highlights? Ibiza residencies at three of the island’s biggest events; Erick Morillo’s Subliminal Sessions, Swedish House Mafia’s Masquerade Motel and David Guetta’s F*** Me I’m Famous event. Norman also produced ‘Chase the Sun’ with David Tort. The track spent 8 weeks in Beatport’s overall Top 10.
As of recent, Doray has signed on to drop the next installment in the Strictly Rhythm series: Strictly Ibiza to Amsterdam.
The compilation’s ‘Day’ and ‘Night’ discs reflect the musical taste of the French house DJ/producer. Rooted in funk and disco, ‘Day’ incorporates his new single ‘Kalifornia,’ made exclusively for the album. It also features classics like Phunkie Souls – Tha Music, one of his all time favorites.
‘Night’ showcases a more club-oriented progressive/tribal sound that Norman has been playing as of late: Full beats and peaking rhythms. Norman drops tracks like Dirty South & Thomas Gold feat. Kate Elsworth ‘Alive,’ Deniz Koyu ‘Tung!,’ Sebjak & Richard Grey ‘Pump Up The Volume’ and David Tort’s remix of ‘Kalifornia.’

Doray’s end-of-summer anthem ‘Kalifornia’ brings together 80’s disco and the underground house of today. Soaked in feel-good vibes, ‘Kalifornia’ sparkles from deep within. On remix duties is David Tort, who filters out the disco in favor of funky electronic beats. The track has already received support from Swedish House Mafia, Dirty South, Tiësto, David Guetta and more.
