Anton Zaslavsk found mainstream popularity with his Grammy award winning song Clarity in 2013, but that was hardly the start for him. Throughout 2009 and 2011 Zedd released remixes of artists such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and the Black Eyed Peas on Beatport, gaining a strong following. While touring his album, he was also hard at work as a producer for artists such as Lady Gaga’s album Artpop, contributing to three songs: Aura, G.U.Y., and Donatella, and  Ariana Grande with”Break Free”.
