Kaskade Strikes Gold
On October 9, Kaskade was awarded with the DJ Times 2011 America’s Best DJ title at Marquee Nightclub in the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. The party featured sets from Kaskade, Scotty Boy, and a surprise appearance by LMFAO.
The spoils: Kaskade was presented with a specially engraved, gold-plated Pioneer DJM-900nexus mixer.
After placing second in last year’s rankings, Kaskade took his rightful place as this year’s top finisher. It’s no secret, 2011 has been a huge year for Kaskade. His accomplishments include headlining the Identity Festival, spinning huge events like Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, holding down a residency at Marquee, and continually releasing chart-topping tracks.
