The #9 DJ in the world is coming back to Glow!! This time, it’s for his debut album’s world tour! With tracks like Lonely Girl, Exposure and On a Metropolis Day, we’re already jumping like school girls. Gareth’s early afternoon, Day 1 set at Electric Zoo stood firm as one of the best performances of the entire festival!! You can hear cuts from his debut album in the music section!

Supported by Aly & Fila, O’Callaghan, Patterson, Tyas and M.I.K.E., Des McMahon is well on his way to becoming an international sta. His track ‘Rainmaker’ found its way onto multiple Armada compilations this summer! After opening for Wolfgang Gartner, Rezilly (formerly Rez-E) was invited back to open for Dirty South and Avicii. On Saturday he’ll be spinning an extended set!! His wild antics, smooth mixing and bad ass track selections make him one of DC’s finest. He’s got one of the best fan bases around for a reason.

Gareth Emery at Glow Washington DC Nightclubs in DC
Even though 2009 hit many hard with the recession, for Gareth Emery, last year proved to be most rewarding and satisfying. Gareth landed himself a nice spot at #9 on the DJ Mag Top 100 and spent more time at Beatport’s trance chart than any other artist. Gareth started at age four, playing the piano and rocked in bands from grade sixth to college, headlining for acts such as Oasis and Green Day in Southampton’s (UK) Joiners. When interviewed or written about, Gareth still carries association with trance. I had a chance to catch up with this young 30 year-old EDM star on his way back from his last gig in Seoul, Korea.
