Photographer Shane McCauley and Diplo unite to create a genre by genre exploratory zine “Blow Your Head,” where they will document their travels to some of the most prestige cultures via photographs of the players and venues. McCauley, Diplo’s trusty photographer sidekick who photographed Diplo’s last book 128 Beats Per Minute, joins him on this escapade to explore different countries and musical genres that will be expressed separately in different volumes.
Each volume is an 8×10 inch, 96 page black and white softcover printed in a limited edition of 1500 copies. Buyers will have the option to pre-order the book in three different bundles – the standard book, deluxe edition or the deluxe edition with a limited silk screen poster. “Blow Your Head” officially gets released in stores October 1st, with a special launch event on October 10th in LA where Diplo and McCauley will be signing magazines.
